İnorganic Chemistry
Inorganic chemistry is broadly defined as the chemistry of everything except carbon compounds. On the other hand, many inorganic compounds contain carbon elements. This definition reveals the extent of inorganic chemistry and its relationship with other disciplines of chemistry. For example, organometallic chemistry, which examines compounds containing metal-carbon bonds, forms a bridge between inorganic and organic chemistry fields. The role of inorganic compounds in biological processes and environmental chemistry is also very important.
